About Reef Studio

Reef Studio was created in 2024 by aquarists at Exotic Aquaculture, we always had a passion for reef keeping, and considering we already had much of the necessary equipment, we decided to start collecting and selling a wide range of corals! We wanted to address the lack of HK-based online livestock-selling services, given how dense Hong Kong is, it only makes sense to offer shipping within the city!

Reef Studio is comprised of a team of 3, including Dr. Toshihiro Yoshida Ph.D. Together we have a combined 26 years of aquarium-keeping experience, both as hobbyists and in large, commercial-sized systems. Some of our other work is sitting in Ocean Park, Sea Life Busan, Sea Life Bangkok, the Saint Louis zoo and The Deep!

All in all, we seek to make reef-keeping in Hong Kong more accessible and sustainable, with 100% guaranteed cultured corals and a no-smuggled-coral guarantee! We only have the oceans once, and we at Reef Studio are committed to keeping them alive and thriving, instead of exploiting them for our own benefit.
