Toshi is the CEO of Wiyl ltd. (ReefStudio's parent company), and has been working in this position for nearly 5 years. With decades of experience working with public aquariums all around the world (including Ocean Park!), he has an in depth understanding of aquarium system design, system maintenence and Marine Biology as a whole. Every custom aquarium we build is always looked over by him before it gets sent to production.
Aside from working at Wiyl, he has also worked at the Wynn Casino in Macau, where he was the Senior Aquarist and in charge of all of their aquariums. Including those aquariums that keep the fish and lobsters before you order them at the restaurant!
Sam is a passionate system designer and aquarist at Reef Studio. With nearly four years of experience keeping reef tanks of all sizes, Sam has a history of creating vibrant underwater ecosystems filled with a variety of corals. She has maintained tanks across a whole spectrum of sizes and difficulties, from a small 10-gallon softie tank all the way to a large 300-gallon SPS frag system. Whether she’s setting up a new tank or fine-tuning an existing one, her passion for this hobby is at the forefront of her work.
As the distributor for Fauna Marin products in Hong Kong (on behalf of Wiyl.), Sam is at the forefront of new techniques and products that can a reef look its best. Aside from this, she is also in very close contact with the stores that sell FM products, allowing her to learn from the experiences of many users, not just her own.
Bob is an experienced and enthusiastic aquaculture enthusiast who has been in the hobby for over 20 years. Starting off with freshwater tanks, he then began studying Aquaculture at the National Taiwan Ocean Univeristy. Bob then jumped head first into the industry by working at a clownfish farm in Taiwan, raising and breeding clownfish. He has been with ReefStudio and Wiyl since the beginning and is a vital part of maintaining our animals day-in day-out.
Bob can't imagine working in any other industry other than this one. With plans to stay in the scene for as long as possible, He is entirely dedicated to the hobby and seeks to continually nurture and improve his skillset.
